A Laid-Back Design
As the monument was going to be constructed on a column, the architect planned to give the tower and the whole monument a well-decorated look. He believed that perfect decor would add significant glory and dignity to the structure. The blueprint also included a balconied terrace on the top of the column. It would allow the visitors to see the monument up close and more easily. The overall structure was going to stand for the next few centuries or more and that’s why every detail, no matter how small, needed to be precisely monitored.

Difficulties In Application
In each and every construction project, there are a few things that need to be eliminated once the project starts getting its shape. Amazingly, there were no such faults that could be seen in Mill’s blueprint, at least initially, as certain issues would later become evident. The biggest and most significant one was the financial one. There were also some concerns related to the final look of the monument. In light of every concern, there were a few things that were ironically removed from the blueprint. For starters, the balcony that Robert added was eliminated. The decorations in terms of fine carvings that were planned to be done on the pillar surface were also eliminated.
