The papers that now carried ‘Vintage’ all over them, gave people of the 21st century a clear idea of what it was like to live in that era. The nature and the way of keeping them in such a secret way also says quite a lot about the thought process of people from that time.

Talking to Historians
Digging in for more details, newspaper agencies tried to talk to various historians. In one of such instances, El Pais, a Spanish newspaper interviewed Efren Arroyo where he said that the motive behind cleric Minguez was to introduce his era and living style to the people of future centuries. Basically, the figurine of Jesus Christ served the purpose of a time capsule, he added. Also, the wood that was used in the construction of this artifact was top notch and that’s the reason it was intact until now with minimal damages.
