Spanish Trial
The letter that was put in the Jesus Christ figurine that was opened by Ramirez and team also contained a discussion on the widely popular Spanish Inquisition. It is considered as one of the most important events of world history that lasted around 3 centuries, from 1478 to 1834. The inquiry or trial’s center was not only Spain as it was basically a separate body of Catholic church working in America and Europe. The purpose of this body was to find people who are in the opposition of its teachings.

A Brutal One
Unlike court trials that we are familiar with, the Spanish Inquisition was rather a very brutal one. The trial was particularly more brutal for the people who were the followers of Judaism or Islam. Though the trial was in all parts of Europe and America, it lasted for a long period of three centuries in Spain. When the trial came to an end in the 19th century, a total of around 32,000 people were brutally killed. The campaign carries a black spot in world history.
