Up and Leave
Nobody who knew him, albeit a very small circle, had any idea that one day he would simply up and leave, separating himself from the demands of the modern world. He now recalls not even being sure that he could do it at the time. There was nothing that drove the decision, albeit just a motivation to lead an alternative life, and to break from the pitfalls of the world as we know it.

Life Was Simply Too Much For Him
Even though his career was starting to take shape, and he was beginning to build a life for himself, Christopher still believed that everything would eventually become too much for him. Arriving at the decision to become a hermit, he didn’t even think to let anybody know, deciding to simply up and leave, and that was it. He vanished one day, without any particular plan, and as he now tells it, he simply got up and did it. Simple as that!
