They are well behind schedule, and some people living in the area have even threatened the group as they are aware that there are those who consider their activity as violating the sacredness of the place. They revere snakes and favor maintaining the pits even though people who are not from there couldn’t understand why they would do that. They were forced to proceed because the authorities had contracted Kevin’s team, and if they were unsuccessful on this activity, then their business would definitely take a major hit.
