In the year 1983, Reba finally gave the song that reached the top spots of the Billboard charts. This was after her fifth album named ‘Unlimited’ got released. She felt bad to know the lackness of creative control over her career and how she was forced by them to make the country pop ballads. This made her take the decision to leave Mercury. A year later she signed MCA Nashville Records and recorded her seventh album named “Just a Little Love”.

Getting To Number 1 Position On Billboard
Reba was still not really happy seeing how her career was shaping. Luckily, she found the opportunity to take full control with a new album that consisted of all her previously released singles. Two songs from My kind of Country were listed to be number 1 on the billboard. It was equally loved by critics as well. Finally, Reba was satisfied with her music.
