Bananas are not bad food. They contain fiber, potassium, vitamin C, and antioxidants, and they can be a useful part of breakfast. The issue is eating only a banana and calling it a complete meal. On its own, a banana may not provide enough protein or healthy fats to keep you full for a long morning.
