It Went Into Offensive Mode
The metal panels that the employees had placed to keep the animal in place were not even doing anything to make the snake preoccupied and contained in a place where they can control the situation; instead, it immediately turned its attention to the employees supporting and keeping those metal panels standing up straight. Several of the employees have already experienced some close encounters, but right now, the intensity of all the emotions involved was really ramping up making the situation more nerve-wracking.

Some employees ran back after dropping the metal plates as that signaled that the animal could be set loose any time soon. The veterinarian understood she needed to act immediately and that everybody’s safety (both for the sake of the animal and the employees working to keep the animal at bay) was deeply dependent on what she could do next to alleviate the situation. But there were certain dangers involved with tranquilizing the snake. and it would be pretty easy for anybody to imagine what those dangers may be.
