People Started Watching Her Closely
As she moved closer, people nearby began to notice. At first, it was only a quick glance from someone passing by. Then another person slowed down. A few more stopped completely. From the outside, it still looked impossible. The stairs had not changed, and nothing about the entrance suggested that a wheelchair could pass through. Someone stepped forward and appeared to offer help, while another person pointed toward the steps.
But the woman gently refused. She did not look upset or embarrassed. She simply shook her head, as if she did not need anyone to lift her or push her. That was when the mood changed. People were no longer just passing by. They were waiting, trying to understand what she was about to do. The crowd became quiet. Everyone’s attention moved to the same place: the stone steps in front of her.
