The Crack Was Done On a Purpose
As the team proceeded in its restoration work, they found out that the crack or the fracture that was in the rood of the figurine was done intentionally. The purpose of this crack was to create a secret compartment and the team somehow managed to open the artifact without damaging it any further. The efforts were not in vain as the items that were found in this compartment were interesting. The crack was made so that the future generations can take a look of what’s inside and explore.
