In a bid to successfully invade France, Hitler ordered the creation of a new weapon that was strong enough to penetrate any fortresses. These defenses were the only thing holding the Nazi’s back from successfully infiltrating the allies at the time.

In an attempt to show his respect towards the Fuhrer, gun manufacturer Gustav Krupp offered machinery equipped to do so at no cost to Hitler or his army. The canon weighed almost a ton and a half and fired nearly twice an hour.
