The First Divorce
Reba used to live with her first husband Charlie Battles in the Oklahoma Ranch at that time. Her marriage was under a huge pressure at that time. Charlie wanted her to be with him at home but she wanted something different with her life. This had become a huge topic of discussion between the when finally ended when they got a divorce in 1987. Reba then made a statement about the divorce that “I had to pack everything in one day and leave. I was totally starting over. I wasn’t the little girl anymore, taking orders and doing what he said”.

Unexpected Tragedy
In 1991, a bad tragedy hit Reba. Her band was traveling via a charter plane when it crashed in a hill close to San Diego. It was so bad that everyone on the plane lost their lives. The accident killed eight of her bad members. The reason for the crash was known to be poor visibility. While this accident took place, Reba was having a sound sleep in the nearby hotel. Just imagine how bad she must have felt to learn about this incidence. A lot of them have been associated with her for years, it was just like losing a family for her.
