It was an unusual reason to call the police, but as an officer, Sarah was trained to handle road blockages and keep traffic moving safely. Before doing that, she decided to try to get the tiny bird off the road, something that seemed simple enough—or so she thought. Little did she know, the reason the owl was there would turn out to be truly shocking.

In fact, the strangest thing happened—it began hopping closer to her, letting out soft hoots as it moved.
