Pot Calling The Kettle Black
When someone is being hypocritical, it is often a case of the “pot calling the kettle black”, which is an expression that is used when someone accuses another of doing something that they themselves are guilty of. For example, someone that smokes cigarettes scolding someone that has just started on the dangers of smoking would be guilty of the pot calling the kettle black. We’ve all been guilty of this at least once, and it helps to be a bit more self-aware!
