Over the course of their time in power, the Nazi party received many gifts, including taking a lot of the things they wanted from Jewish people who had no say in the matter at all. Little did they know that other gifts were coming after the war, too.

In this photograph, taken right after the war ended, soldiers bravely showed the bombs they were sending as “presents” to the Axis region. Thankfully, these didn’t have to be used, and civilian lives were spared in the process.

Astoundingly, he managed to escape without losing his life. As it turns out, the plane had lost power overhead, and he was lucky to be alive, albeit that he was now in enemy territory and had other considerations to keep in mind.
