Blitzkrieg Thwarted
Very few countries managed to avert the Nazi invasion tactic, dubbed “Blitskrieg”. The method included a lot of offensive combat, often with high impact technologies and with planes and choppers to assist as a backup. Russia was the only country that thwarted the tactic.

As the war raged on, it was clear that some countries had impressive, rational tactics, while others lacked a sense of critical thinking. Pictured below is an American tactic that worked wonders, which included creating inflatable tanks and mock attire for troops.

These inflatables contained large speakers, which boomed the sound of tanks moving around to nearby Nazi officials. This was used to fool the Germans, and as it provided the necessary distraction, U.S soldiers could approach from another direction.
