You probably do not know who Joan van Ark is? For those who know her might have seen her in a film series and played Valene Ewing in Dallas for 13 seasons. Besides acting in that film, she also appeared in Knot’s Landing. She was the winner of the Soap Opera Digest Award not just once but two times for the role! Soap Opera Digest honored her for the role not once, but twice. In the past, she has appeared in The Six Million Dollar Guy, MASH, Love Boat, and Bonanza, among other television shows. As of 2013, the actress was working on the show’s reimagining. Apart from that, she has also dabbled in voice acting and served as a judge on RuPaul’s Drag Race.
